wood shop class

I took a wood shop class but I had to go through a test to see if I could use the tools there like the scroll saw,miter saw, drill press,and the belt sander. And so far I made a base ball bat holder and I made a salt and pepper holder with a space in the middle of them to hold napkins. And I made a paper towel holder. And it is so fun to make things because you can chose a lot of things.

Soccerrrr!

Today I had a soccer game and it was really hot. First we went out there and watched my sister's game. They played hard but they lost. Then we walked around a lot. We went to the other side of the park and sat down and watched my cousin's game. They lost too. Then it was time for my pictures. I did not smile in my group picture, but I did smile in my individual picture. My Mom was a little bit upset when I told her that I didn't smile in the group picture. Then it was finally time for my game. I was so hot and tired that it was hard to play well. The other team was really good, too. We lost! That was the first game we lost all season.

My new fan

I just got my fan last night, and it's cool. My Awana teacher Brandon got it for me in Japan. He went there to train for karate and he told me he would get me a fan while he was there. My fan looks kind of like the one above, but it has a red, yellow and brown design and the bamboo on mine is prettier. Also mine has a tassel hanging down. I'm going to use it as a decoration in my room, and I'm going to use it sometimes when it's hot.

Cobra

I like how Cobras look. They're cool because their head is BIG. It's like that to scare other animals so the animals don't eat them. I want to learn more about Cobras. Maybe I could read a book about them.

Day of the Dragon King

I'm reading Day of the Dragon King. It's part of the Magic Tree House series. I'm in chapter three right now. Jack and Annie, the two kids in the picture above, are the main characters. Right now they are in China, and they just got new traditional Chinese clothes to wear. They're going into a field with cows, and I'm interested to find out what happens next. Has anyone else read this book? I like to read while I ride in the car so I'm not bored.

My little sister's Blingee

This is my sister's Blingee. My Mom and my sister made it together. We had fun doing it! It's full of stuff on the picture. It has all kinds of things and it looks cool.

My Blingee

I didn't know what to put first but then I found a lot of stuff to put on it and it was fun. I like the designs of these things and I like to find all the things and put them on. The golden one and the swirly one are my favorites.
